How much does it cost to get it all working again?
This is the hardest question of them all, we do our utmost to ensure our customers are not charge a penny that is not needed. To give you an idea to time a standard hard drive upgrade either to SSD or a larger Hard drive will usually take approx. 1.5hrs (although the process takes about 24 hours in total you are not charged for us to watch the files copy over!) a General Clean-up of a pc to get it running smoothly again takes approx. 45 mins depending on the age of the machine and any Malware of viral infections being found, then it may take longer as we would need to run multiple Virus scans to ensure we find everything (although these scans may take hours, you are not charged for us waiting for a scan to complete).

For the moment we would suggest holding off from updating to Windows 10, As it is very new, there is always a chance of random issues and giving it a few months gives time for these issues to be ironed out, as long as you have a qualifying version of Windows (Windows 7 or Windows 8.1) then you can still take up the free upgrade until 29th July 2016.

Yes there are a number of things you can do. Ensure your PC is fully up to date using Windows Update, delete any unneeded files and empty your Recycle bin regularly. Defragment your pc once a month (in Windows 7+ click the start button and type Defragment and then click the icon, select your C drive and click start). If these steps don’t help, there may be more to your woes, give us a call.
